Enhancing Educational Spaces: St Joseph’s School, Preston
We recently completed a flooring project at St Joseph’s School in Preston, transforming key areas of the institution with materials chosen for their practicality, durability, and visual appeal. This project highlights our expertise in creating spaces that support the needs of both students and staff while maintaining a welcoming and modern aesthetic.
For the carpeting, we installed Flotex Lagoon, a unique material known for its exceptional durability and comfort. Its robust nature makes it ideal for busy school environments, offering resistance to wear and tear while providing a soft underfoot experience. The Lagoon colour brought a calming and cohesive look to the spaces, perfectly complementing the school’s atmosphere.
In areas requiring resilient and slip-resistant flooring, we used Forbo Surestep Vinyl in China Blue and Corn. This material was selected for its safety properties, making it ideal for spaces where students are constantly on the move. A standout feature of this project was the incorporation of a hand-cut curve in the vinyl design, adding a custom and polished finish to the installation. This detail not only enhanced the aesthetic but also demonstrated the level of care and craftsmanship we bring to each project.
