A school hall we have recently completed at Pool House School Preston.
On this job we had to remove the existing vinyl, apply a Damp Proof Membrane, then screed and finally install the new Polyflor forest FX colour Alloy Timber.
Revitalising the School Hall at Pool House School, Preston
Our recent project at Pool House School in Preston involved a complete transformation of the school hall, showcasing our expertise in delivering durable and visually appealing flooring solutions for educational environments. The hall, a central space for various school activities, required a flooring upgrade that would enhance both functionality and aesthetics.
The project began with the careful removal of the existing vinyl flooring, followed by the application of a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) to ensure a moisture-free foundation. Once the DPM was in place, we applied a high-quality screed to create a smooth and level surface, preparing the hall for the final stage of installation.
For the new flooring, Polyflor Forest FX in the Alloy Timber colour was chosen. This luxury vinyl tile features a realistic timber design that brought warmth and sophistication to the space. Its robust construction ensures it can withstand the demands of a busy school hall, offering excellent durability and easy maintenance. The Alloy Timber colour added a contemporary touch, making the hall more inviting for students, staff, and visitors alike.
The completed hall now boasts a modern, professional appearance, perfectly suited to its role as a hub for assemblies, events, and physical activities.
