For this project we re-fitted 5 classrooms at English Martyr Primary School in Preston, Lancashire
The materials used for this installation were Burmatex Tivoli carpet tiles and Polyflor Forest Fx. Both materials are perfectly suited for a school environment. Forest FX offers a large variety of colours and designs, whilst also being highly slip resistant easily maintainable. Furthermore it also offers a continuous, impervious and hygienic flooring solution.
Revitalising Learning Spaces at English Martyr Primary School, Preston
Our recent project at English Martyr Primary School in Preston involved the complete re-fitting of five classrooms, transforming these key learning spaces into vibrant, durable, and practical environments for students and staff. The carefully chosen materials reflect the specific demands of a school setting, balancing aesthetics with functionality to create spaces that are both inspiring and easy to maintain.
For this installation, we utilised Burmatex Tivoli carpet tiles and Polyflor Forest Fx, two materials renowned for their suitability in educational environments. The Burmatex Tivoli carpet tiles provided a soft, comfortable underfoot experience, improving acoustics within the classrooms and creating a welcoming atmosphere conducive to learning.
In contrast, Polyflor Forest Fx was selected for its exceptional durability, slip resistance, and hygienic properties. This luxury vinyl tile offers a seamless, impervious surface, making it easy to clean and maintain, an essential feature for busy school settings. The Forest Fx range’s variety of colours and designs also allowed us to enhance the visual appeal of the classrooms, bringing a sense of energy and creativity to the learning spaces.
